Глава 15

1 На двадцать седьмом году правления Иеровоама, царя Израиля, в Иудее начал царствовать Азария, сын Амасии.

2 Ему было шестнадцать лет, когда он стал царем, и правил он в Иерусалиме пятьдесят два года. Его мать звали Иехолия, она была родом из Иерусалима.

3 Он делал то, что было правильным в глазах Господа, как и его отец Амасия.

4 Лишь святилища на возвышенностях не были еще уничтожены. Народ продолжал приносить там жертвы и возжигать благовония.

5 Господь поразил царя проказой до самой его смерти, и он жил в отдельном доме. Иотам, сын царя, распоряжался во дворце и управлял народом страны.

6 Прочие события правления Азарии и всего, что он сделал, то разве не записаны они в «Книге летописей царей Иудеи»?

7 Азария упокоился со своими предками и был похоронен рядом с ними в Городе Давида, а Иотам, его сын, стал царем вместо него.

8 На тридцать восьмом году правления Азарии, царя Иудеи, царем Израиля стал Захария, сын Иеровоама, и правил в Самарии шесть месяцев.

9 Он делал зло в глазах Господа, подобно своим отцам. Он не отвернулся от грехов Иеровоама, сына Навата, к которым тот склонил Израиль.

10 Шаллум, сын Иавеша, составил заговор против Захарии. Он поразил его на виду у всего народа, убил и стал царем вместо него.

11 Прочие события правления Захарии записаны в «Книге летописей царей Израиля».

12 Так исполнилось слово Господа, которое Он сказал Ииую: «Твои потомки будут сидеть на престоле Израиля до четвертого поколения».

13 Шаллум, сын Иавеша, стал царем на тридцать девятом году правления Уззии, царя Иудеи, и правил в Самарии один месяц.

14 Из Тирцы в Самарию пришел Менахем, сын Гадия. Он поразил Шаллума, сына Иавеша, в Самарии, убил его и стал царем вместо него.

15 Прочие события правления Шаллума и заговор, который он составил, записаны в «Книге летописей царей Израиля».

16 В то время Менахем, выступив из Тирцы, напал на Тифсах со всеми, кто был в городе и в его окрестностях, потому что они отказались открыть ворота. Он разграбил Типсах и порубил всех беременных женщин.

17 На тридцать девятом году правления Азарии, царя Иудеи, царем Израиля стал Менахем, сын Гадия, и правил в Самарии десять лет.

18 Он делал зло в глазах Господа. Во все дни правления он не отворачивался от грехов Иеровоама, сына Навата, к которым тот склонил Израиль.

19 В то время в страну вторгся Пул, царь Ассирии, и Менахем дал ему тысячу талантов серебра, чтобы тот помог ему укрепить власть над царством.

20 Менахем взыскал эти деньги с Израиля. Каждый богатый человек был обязан внести пятьдесят шекелей серебра, чтобы отдать их царю Ассирии. Тогда царь Ассирии вернулся назад и не остался в стране.

21 Что же до прочих событий правления Менахема и всего, что он сделал, то разве не записаны они в «Книге летописей царей Израиля»?

22 Менахем упокоился со своими предками. Пекахия, его сын, стал царем вместо него.

23 На пятидесятом году правления Азарии, царя Иудеи, царем Израиля стал Пекахия, сын Менахема, и правил в Самарии два года.

24 Пекахия делал зло в глазах Господа. Он не отвернулся от грехов Иеровоама, сына Навата, к которым тот склонил Израиль.

25 Его сановник Пеках, сын Ремалии, составил против него заговор. Взяв с собой пятьдесят человек галаадитян, он напал на Пекахию, вместе с Арговом и Арием, в крепости царского дворца в Самарии. Пеках убил Пекахию и стал царем вместо него.

26 Прочие события правления Пекахии и все, что он сделал, записано в «Книге летописей царей Израиля».

27 На пятьдесят втором году правления Азарии, царя Иудеи, царем Израиля стал Пеках, сын Ремалии, и правил в Самарии двадцать лет.

28 Он делал зло в глазах Господа. Он не отвернулся от грехов Иеровоама, сына Навата, к которым тот склонил Израиль.

29 В дни Пекаха, царя Израиля, царь Ассирии Тиглатпаласар пришел и взял города Ийон, Авел-Бет-Мааху, Ианох, Кедеш, Хацор, области Галаад, Галилею, всю землю Неффалима и увел народ в плен в Ассирию.

30 Осия, сын Элы, составил против Пекаха, сына Ремалии, заговор. Он напал на него, убил и стал царем вместо него на двадцатом году правления Иотама, сына Уззии.

31 Что же до прочих событий правления Пекаха и всего, что он сделал, то разве не записаны они в «Книге летописей царей Израиля»?

32 На втором году правления израильского царя Пекаха, сына Ремалии, в Иудее начал царствовать Иотам, сын Уззии.

33 Ему было двадцать пять лет, когда он стал царем, и правил он в Иерусалиме шестнадцать лет. Его мать звали Иеруша, она была дочерью Цадока.

34 Он делал то, что было правильным в глазах Господа, как и его отец Уззия.

35 Лишь святилища на возвышенностях не были уничтожены, народ продолжал приносить там жертвы и возжигать благовония. Иотам перестроил Верхние ворота Господнего дома.

36 Что же до прочих событий правления Иотама и того, что он сделал, то разве не записаны они в «Книге летописей царей Иудеи»?

37 (В те дни Господь начал посылать против Иудеи Рецина, царя Арама, и Пекаха, сына Ремалии.)

38 Иотам упокоился со своими предками и был похоронен с ними в Городе Давида, своего предка. А Ахаз, его сын, стал царем вместо него.

2 Kings

Chapter 15

1 IN the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Uzziah the son of Amaziah king of Judah, began to reign.

2 He was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jechoaniah of Jerusalem.

3 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;

4 But the temple of idols he did not remove; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.

5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and he dwelt in a house in seclusion. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

6 Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.

7 So Uzziah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David; and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

8 In the thirty-eighth year of Uzziah king of Judah, Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.

9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father hath done; he did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.

10 And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him and smote him before the people and killed him, and reigned in his stead.

11 And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

12 Thus was fulfilled the word of the LORD which he spoke to Jehu, saying, Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.

13 Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.

14 For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah and came to Samaria and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him and reigned in his stead.

15 Now the rest of the acts of Shallum and the conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

16 Then Menahem smote Tiphsah and all who were in it and the territory thereof from Tirzah; because they did not open the gate to him, therefore he smote it; and he ripped up all the women in it that were with child.

17 In the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel and he reigned ten years in Samaria.

18 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not turn aside all his days from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.

19 And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land; and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver to help him and to confirm the kingdom in his hand.

20 And Menahem levied taxes upon Israel, even on all wealthy men of the land, each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back and stayed not there in the land.

21 And the rest of the acts of Menahem and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

22 And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.

23 In the fiftieth year of Uzziah king of Judah, Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and he reigned two years.

24 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.

25 But Pekah the son of Romaliah, his mighty man, conspired against him and slew him in Samaria in the palace of the king's house; he took with him Argob and Lani and fifty men of the Gileadites, and he killed him and reigned in his stead.

26 And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

27 In the fifty-second year of Uzziah king of Judah, Pekah the son of Romaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and he reigned twenty years.

28 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.

29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and took Ijon, Abel, Mehola, and all Beth-maachah, and Niah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee, and all the land of Naphtali, and carried the people captive to Assyria.

30 And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Romaliah, and smote him and slew him and reigned in his stead in the second year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

31 And the rest of the acts of Pekah and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Romaliah king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah, began to reign.

33 He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.

34 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah had done.

35 But the temple of idols he did not remove; the people sacrificed and burned incense still on the high places. He built the upper gate of the house of the LORD.

36 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.

37 In those days the LORD began to provoke against Judah Rezin the king of Aram and Pekah the son of Romaliah.

38 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David; and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

19 В то время в страну вторгся Пул, царь Ассирии, и Менахем дал ему тысячу талантов серебра, чтобы тот помог ему укрепить власть над царством.	19 And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land; and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver to help him and to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20 Менахем взыскал эти деньги с Израиля. Каждый богатый человек был обязан внести пятьдесят шекелей серебра, чтобы отдать их царю Ассирии. Тогда царь Ассирии вернулся назад и не остался в стране.	20 And Menahem levied taxes upon Israel, even on all wealthy men of the land, each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back and stayed not there in the land.

30 Осия, сын Элы, составил против Пекаха, сына Ремалии, заговор. 32 На втором году правления израильского царя Пекаха, сына Ремалии, в Иудее начал царствовать Иотам, сын Уззии.	32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Romaliah king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah, began to reign.
33 Ему было двадцать пять лет, когда он стал царем, и правил он в Иерусалиме шестнадцать лет. Его мать звали Иеруша, она была дочерью Цадока.	33 He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
